Meet Our Founder

Gereen is a BCBA and the founder of Tangerine Behavioral Consulting LLC. Since 2009, she has been dedicated to empowering families and educators through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to achieve positive, lasting behavior change.

Gereen’s journey began at the Marcus Autism Center in Atlanta, Georgia, where she specialized in severe behavior intervention and language development. These experiences sparked her passion for training and coaching families to prevent and manage challenging behaviors, a focus she has maintained for over a decade.

She has served as a Behavior Interventionist and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS) District Coordinator in a school district in Georgia, providing training, coaching, and consultation to district and school personnel.

Originally from St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, and a mother of a twice-exceptional child, Gereen understands the challenges of maintaining a behavioral approach. This personal experience drives her commitment to educating parents and educators on practical ABA and PBIS strategies.
